The House of Pacific Relations (HPR), located in San Diego ’s Balboa Park , is a consortium of ‘houses’ representing 34 cultures. The HPR promotes multicultural goodwill and understanding through educational and cultural programs. The park contains historic 1935 Exposition cottages plus 4 newer cottages where HPR member cultures can offer visitors a window to their culture, history and traditions.
We specialize in teaching students of all ages and skill levels in Ballroom, Latin, as well as partnership dances like Salsa, Merengue, Swing/Lindy, Hustle, Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz and many more. Starting in March we will also be teaching Zumba classes.

National Smooth Dancers (NSD) was founded in 1938 for the purpose of creating greater interest in ballroom dancing and to establish friendliness and good will among dancers. There are eight Chapters in California reaching from San Diego to San Francisco with a total of more than 650 members. The Palomar Chapter was established in 1959.
