Folk & Such … a Live Music Dance Party!
7:00 – 9:30 pm • Saturday, April 11
Waltz & Such is teaming up with the IDASDC (International Dance Association of San Diego County) to offer a special evening of music and dance, aimed at bringing together dancers who are willing to stretch their boundaries and perhaps try something new! There will be no formal teaching, but many of the dances can be followed or picked up on the fly. Don’t know a particular dance? Do your own version nearby — whatever the music tells you! All skill levels are welcome.
The recorded music set will feature your favorite Swings, Latin, Cajun, and of course Waltzes!

Twice a month, on Thu afternoons from 11:30 - 2:30pm, the San Diego Park and Recreation Dept hosts a dance in the Balboa Park Club Ballroom for only $5. John Nagel, from the Balboa Park Dancers teaches ballroom dances from 11:30am-12:30pm. Live music from 12:30-2:30pm.
Most of the time it will be a live band with an occasional DJ. See below for theme & band.
