Twice a month, on Thu afternoons from 12:30 - 2:30pm, the San Diego Park and Recreation Dept hosts a dance in the Balboa Park Club Ballroom for only $5. John Nagel, from the Balboa Park Dancers will be teaching different ballroom dances from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Most of the time it will be a live band, with an occasional DJ music.
Thu Apr 25, 2024 12:30 - 2:30pm Garden Party theme. Wear your floral attire while enjoying the rhythms of the “Blue Zone”. 11:30am John Nagel teaching Waltz & Rumba.
Thu May 9, 2024 12:30 - 2:30pm Fiesta theme. Come festa with friends while enjoying music performed by the “Sophisticats”. 11:30am John Nagel teaching Foxtrot & Cha Cha.
